If you reach a closet in time, you'll have to play a rhythm minigame to ward off the Figure. Getting caught by the Figure is an instant death, so don't let it get close to you! If the Figure finds you, run to the nearest closet and jump inside. In addition, you should wait until the Figure is far away before picking up items or opening drawers. You should always be crouching while you explore the room, as this quiets your movements and prevents the Figure from detecting you. Although the Figure is blind, it can hear your footsteps and any objects you interact with.
